Instructions on making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few simple details that we need in order to satisfy your order, such as your delivery address. Our Mail Order department takes over from there!

You may also add items to your shopping cart without entering our Online store. If you see our shopping cart symbol (such as below), simply click the items indicated, and they will be entered against your shopping list.

Card Payments

AcuMedic accept most types of credit/debit card

We accept secured credit/debit card payments for Visa and Mastercard, and secured payments for most other types of credit card. Your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency as your order is processed.  

Customers not wishing to use their credit/debit card

You don't have to use your credit/debit card to purchase from our store if you don't want to, as our system will allow you to "Send Credit Card details separately" and in this case, you will not be asked for your card details. You will be asked this question during your Online purchases.

When items are charged to your account/back-ordered items

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship, and back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may also supply your credit card information via phone (to our mail order department), and by fax, postal-mail or over the Internet using our secure credit card processing system. 

Security and peace of mind

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our processing systems. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

AcuMedic orders are processed using a fully secured SSL-encrypted HTTPS server.

Browser Cookies and Advertising

Cookies are only used in our Online Shop - and only if you elect for our system to "Remember me". Cookies are not used on our site in any other way, or for any other marketing/advertising purposes. We do not host advertising of any type on our site, or bother you with popup/over/under/ windows.

Mass mailing/Spam

We do not operate a mass-mailing policy, and will treat your e-mail address with the respect you would wish. If a customer has expressed an interest, we may from time to time send relevant information, and you can elect to opt out of this at any time. We may also send highly specific and targeted information, but we do not put you "on a mailing list" to receive circular after circular - in an unwanted fashion.
