Why Study Acupuncture?

Acupuncture has become a widely accepted form of treatment that is finally recognised by Western medicine. There is a great deal of research that demonstrates the effectiveness of acupuncture and the scientific basis of the treatment, such work will continue, but the fact is that acupuncture works.

Acupuncture can be used in combination with Western medicine to wither improve its effectiveness or reduce undesirable side-effects. Acupuncture is totally complementary to Western medicine, and doctors that are trained in both of these sciences can offer much more integrative and successful treatment options to their patients.

Why should you choose the CMIR "Syndrome Acupuncture" course?

Syndrome Acupuncture is the mainstream form of treatment in China, Japan & many parts of the world, bring practised in both its traditional and modern approaches. Chinese Medicine is a unique system of medicine that looks at disease in syndromes, taking into account the patient's phychological & emotional factors in the development of their illness.
