This book is composed of two large parts:

The first part contains the basic theoretical knowledge of acupuncture anaesthesia, i.e. the doctrine of Tsang-Fu and chinglo, the anatomical physiology of the neurohumor, methods of acupuncture anaesthesia, the most commonly used acupuncture points in acupuncture anaesthesia, etc.

The second part contains the use of acupuncture anaesthesia in various kinds of operation, i.e. operation on the cranium, eye, ear, nose, pharynx, larynx, oral cavity, jaw, neck, thorax, abdomen, perineum, and their corresponding case reports, etc.

At present, this is a unique book to integrate theory with practice on acupuncture anaesthesia.

This book includes the basic knowledge of 8 kinds of acupuncture technique, the 151 commonly used acupuncture points and 57 kinds of diseases treated by using various methods of acupuncture.

Besides, a lot of illustrations and tables have been given. The contents of this book are comprehensive, practical and easily understood, so it is suitable for all who are interested in the subject.
