This book provides with insight of the acupuncturist over twenty years experience. It reflects on the practices, relationships with patients and their fears. This book is intended to make the reader think, reflect and debate. (2009) 119pp

The aim of thoughts in this book is to provide insights into what Nora Franglen has learned from her years of practice as a five element acupuncturist. Each practitioner of sufficient experience will devise the methods by which they work based upon that experience, and there is something in this gathering of experience which cannot be taught directly, but has in some way to be gleaned from our own experiences and from those who have preceded us and have more years\' work for us to draw upon.

But ultimately we each have some personal input which makes our way of treating perculiarly our own, and this is how it should always be, unless we are to think of ourselves as robots. At some level, if each of us can add something, however small, which is uniquely our own contribution, this moves our discipline forward and enriches it, keeping it a living, breathing discipline.
