This book is the second volume of Milne’s comprehensive and masterly Heart of Listening. Originally published as one book, it has been re-issued as two volumes to meet the public demand for a more portable edition. This book can be used as a workbook to guide the healer in further development in visionary craniosacral work. It can also be used as study material and reference book for those with a deep and abiding interest in human nature and human anatomy.

In this second volume, the author clarifies the anatomy, physiology, pathology, and energetics of each salient craniosacral structure, and goes on to explain how the practitioner might gain insight into what troubles the client, and what the client needs, by ‘listening’ to the song of those structures. The founder of craniosacral work, William Sutherland, repeatedly emphasized the importance of the practitioner being able to visualize the internal structures in minute detail. The author provides the informational base to assist the practitioner in his/her development toward that vital goal. Gentle, non-invasive techniques for each important bony, muscular, or membranous structure are described in illustrated detail. The author’s particular genius lies in his ability to weave a delicate tapestry of narrative, poetry, and scientific fact into a fascinating and insightful exposition of the visionary healing arts.
