In this book the author illustrates how new concept of viewing organisms will have a profound impact on physiology, pathology, biochemistry, genetics, & other sciences and how ECIWO has been applied successfully to medicine.- By Y. Zhang. (1987) 257pp
ECIWO, a universal structural and functional unit found recently in organisms, is an embryo that is at a certain stage of development.
An organism consists of various ECIWOs that are at different developmental stages and distinct in the degrees of specialization.
A cell is an ECIWO whose developmental degree is the lowest. The cell theory is a special case of the ECIWO theory.
ECIWO biology is a branch of biological science, which considers the life phenomena of ECIWOs. It gives a completely new concept of viewing organisms, and will have a great and profound impact on physiology, pathology, biochemistry, genetics, zoology, botany, biophysics, molecular biology, and other sciences.
ECIWO biology has been applied successfully to medicine, agronomy, palaeoanthropology, veterinary science, botany, and so on and so forth.
