Clinical Experiences is the fifth volume in the series 'Practical Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharcology'. Organized according to the characteristics and therapeutic methods for treating common diseases, each section begins with a brief description of the disease followed by a discusion of the etiology and pathogenesis and discussions on syndrome differentiation, therapeutic principles, classification and treatment and experiential prescriptions.

A Remarks section is included to adjust the prescription for exceptions and variations. Professors Ou Ming and Li Yanwen of Guangzhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Dr. Yu Xiaodan formely at the State Administration for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology, each an expert in traditional Chinese medicine, provided the excellent translation of the English text.
