This book has been written in the hope that it will satisfy the needs of the many cat lovers who are interested in an alternative approach to the treatment of illnesses to which this endaring species is subject. It is by no means exhaustive and only the common rededies are listed in the text. For a detailed description of remedies the reader is referred to a more comprehensive manual of homoeopathic remedies.

many of the non-specific conditons mentioned in the text are in many ways similar to those affecting the dog, but it has been found in practice that the response of the cat to any given remedy is different in may respects to that seen in the dog (or other species).
